A gem of a recording and deserving of far more attention than it ever received. It's amazing how Curtis Mayfield is in each track (you'll hear what I mean) and yet he doesn't join Glady's Knight & The Pips in this soundtrack score.


The Claudine soundtrack was released on the group's record label, Buddah Records, and the film's theme song, "On & On", was a #5 hit for Knight and the Pips on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart in 1974.  [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudine_(movie)]
